A third update on The New York Times' Lens Blog, written by Kerri MacDonald, is published in November 2014 to launch my first-ever crowdfunding campaign, raising funds in exchange for Rewards, for Poonam, 12 and her 13-year-old sister Jyoti’s full-time education, to continue my work documenting them as they grow up to become emancipated women,
Part of the funds will also set up a 5-year educational project in some of the water-contaminated colonies of Bhopal. |
